Just a head!

A miserable start to the day ...... lots of rain & drizzle ...... thought we were heading for another washout! I was very unimpressed ..... particularly as the weatherman had made no mention of rain for today!

However ...... it did begin to clear up mid afternoon .... although it was still rather windy ...... so making sure we had macs with us .... we decided to brave it & have a walk!

We only went as far as Westgate Wood ...... it seemed very quiet ..... not a lot of life around ....... we did manage to see several butterflies ...... Speckled Wood, Comma & Whites .... there were also a few dragonflies whizzing about .... but they declined to land for a photo shoot!

We spotted a Buzzard circling in the distance & also saw the Lancaster bomber banking round ...... both too far off to get a shot .... but great to see.

So all I came up with for today's blip was this seedhead ....... hope you like it :-)
