No bears today, but some of these rather splendid chickens - about eight in total. My limited google skills tell me they are French Black Copper Marans - but I stand to be corrected! A grab shot as this one jumped out of the undergrowth and headed off to join the others. Maybe slightly blurry!

A day mostly spent at Mrs madwill’s studio cutting fabric and printing labels.

Edit - Just spotted my 'one year ago' shot. Taken from almost the same spot as one from three days ago. Looks like the same machine too.
