Inspired by Pixelfoto
I went rooting among the dying strands of a Cranesbill (geranium) looking for seed-heads and came across this one, which was part of a composite head. I’d already taken a few photos of bees on a Veronica plant which I wasn’t very pleased with so I set up this still life inside and photographed it using an old prime Olympus lens of my dads with an extension tube and a micro 4/3rds convertor attached. It’s a bit cumbersome to use hand held, especially as its manual focus only, but it’s OK on a tripod. I couldn’t quite make my mind up which image I preferred so there’s one more in extra.
Many thanks to Pixelfoto for the inspiration.
