Went to see Nish Kumar in the fringe, mainly on the basis of ‘The Mash Report’ on BBC2; which is pretty much a Daily Show format, with Nish as host.

The show was brilliant - a good two thirds spent ripping into Brexit and Trump (“Brexit is being organised by people who aren’t just the least competent in their party, but also their species” and “The 45th president, in terms of chronology and quality” being favourites”). These were pretty much the only lines not liberally spiced with rude words, but not a single one felt inappropriate.

He did point out that his show is proving problematic in some places, with a number of ‘Gammons’ finding it not to their liking.

Shame.
