Summer and winter meet

Another day of painting and papering _ just one wall to go now!!!

This morning was bright and calm so I decided to put a bit of washing out. Took the opportunity for a bit of a garden scan. This is a Jubilee Celebration rose actually flowering. Last time I took one of this it was a frosted bud and as they hadn't flowered all summer I thought that would be the end of them.

In the background are my dogwoods now without their leaves and showing their real winter glory colour.

While still in leaf they were full of white berries but they are starting to shrivel now.

Well winter or summer in the garden it is definitely an autumn weekend on the horizon - enjoy it everybody!
