The Old Ice House

Today we walked from Tighnabruaich round to Kames and then went along the single track road to Blair's Ferry.
This old ice house is an abiding feature of the sea front at Kames.
No longer an ice house it is now a useful shed.
We always like to visit Blair's Ferry as this is where my great great grandfather lived.
I have learned that the Cameron's provided a ferry service from Blair's Ferry to the ancient Kilmichael burial ground on Bute.
Further investigation will be required :-)
