Lime St, Liverpool

Greetings! The Ards Man and I are gallivanting again, this time to visit number1 peanut. She recently acquired her very first millstone mortgage and has a new [ilong[/i] list of things for her dad to do! Not so much DIY as DID.

Today, though, we had a day off and we all went into Liverpool city centre for brunch in Moose. There was also a visit to John Lewis, of course - the AM's favourite shop as they send him vouchers for free coffee and cake from time to time.

I've enjoyed being with the peanut again, it's so lovely that our daughters' homes become a home-from-home for us, too. I've decided that I really need to get a map and tourist book of Liverpool so I can make sure to see all the highlights! For now it is mostly being in for deliveries and for the carpet fitters. The AM is working through his list of tasks and just has a few more shelves and coat hooks to put up, I think.

The weather in Liverpool is always so much warmer than it is in Belfast, we do feel like we're on our holidays :)
