SANDERLING

The day started so grey and dull, but in the afternoon the weather changed completely.. We cycled to the sea and walked just as far as we liked, swam in the nice waves, and sat on the sand for quite a while.
Three sanderlings came joyfully flying and for just a very short time looked for food between the stones of the pier. Then off they went again.
But I was there and took some photos.
