Many moons ago there was a boating house at Eastville Park.
One was burnt down by suffragettes, and it was rebuilt.
The last one was torn down before I moved to Fishponds, and the foundation for a new boat house put in it's place.
Unfortunately the money dried up and we were left with a great concrete plinth, with some metal fencing.
Last month, a local graffiti artist donated his time to hide the metal with something a bit more palatable on the eye.
