A bug's life

Another wee play with my macro reversing ring. I was initially disappointed with the tiny area of focus, but I'm starting to like the abstract effects. I had a wander round the house, wondering what to photograph, then I remembered these cufflinks that my husband inherited. They are really weird, made from real beetles. 
Anyway, I've just ordered a proper macro lens. It won't magnify as much as this, but hopefully the images will be sharper, and as its a 100mm prime, it can be used for portraits etc too.
