In a bad mood!

Ann is in a bad mood this evening and this Blip is going to be a bit of a rant so if you don't want to read about Ann's 'Friday afternoon problems' click onto someone else's Blip now.

We're thinking of having a new kitchen fitted so we've been getting lots of quotes from different places. Today it was the turn of 'Tesco Kitchens'. Not that we think 'Tesco' is a good place to buy a kitchen from ........................we just wanted to make use of their free design service?!

Anyway, I'm a bit of a nuisance when strangers come to the house. I bark at them and if they don't like dogs they think I'm really ferocious and scary. It takes me a while to settle down so Ann prefers to have me out of the house. As the appointment was due to last a couple of hours Ann asked my very lovely dog sitter, if he would take me for my walk.

I've had such a lovely afternoon. Even though it's been pouring with rain all afternoon we've been jogging on all the beaches. It's been fun, fun, fun!

Ann has NOT had fun, fun, fun!

The kitchen designer was due at 2pm. At 2.15pm Ann tweeted that he hadn't arrived. Now she can tweet she tweets all sorts of drivel?! At 2.55pm she phoned 'Tesco' to find out where he was and was told they would find out and phone her straight back. At 3.20pm they phoned to say the appointment had been cancelled and they must have a problem with their computer system?! Duh?!

They tried to rearrange it for 7pm tonight but Ann told them she was going out to see 'BLOOZE', the greatest band in the South West. And also, I doubt whether my very lovely dog sitter would want to take me out for another two hours of jogging in the rain. And to be honest I'm completely flaked out now so don't know if I'd want to go anyway.

Ann is furious. She has loads to do and this is the first day in absolutely ages that she could have had a whole day all to herself - no work, no other appointments, no anything?! She would even have been happy to take me for a long, long walk in the rain herself?!

And then 'Tesco' tried to make her book another appointment next week?! Well, we've got 'Howdens' & 'Homebase' to see next week, Ann has to go to the dentist, she has to go to work, I need my 2 walks every day, and we have friends to see ............................. so she told 'Tesco' to get lost - politely of course?!

And the moral of the story?! - Don't buy a kitchen from Tesco!!!!

However, while we're having a bit of a rant about Tesco .......................... the 'St Ives Tesco' is dreadful - it's shelves are constantly empty and the aisles are always full of staff stocking them up when the shop is really busy. But I guess that's a whole other rant?!!!

Oh and if anyone is interested; this is a Blip of me and my very lovely dog sitter Christian. He loves me soooo much that as soon as he brought me home he dried me, even though he was soaking wet himself. ..................And I'm seeing him tomorrow .................. and I'm seeing him when the other kitchen designers come round. YAY!!!!
