Traybake

Awaiting it's topping and destined for a trip to Shrewsbury Folk Festival that starts on Friday. The camping experience requires cake. My son and my little granddaughter are coming on Saturday so it will soon vanish. I'll freeze it and that will save a rush at the end.
It's a bit of a hurried emergency blip as I've been pretty busy today.

This morning I was expecting the plumber. He didn't turn up so at lunchtime I rang him up and he came took details of a largish central heating boiler/ radiator problem that I need doing. He's retired and doesn't do much now but he's good once he turns up!

I'm still waiting for my landscape gardener to come and do the work in my garden. 5 months of waiting and little communication has been frustrating so this afternoon I had another man come to take a look. I feel that the original man has messed me around rather too much so I'll try someone else.  The  new man had lots of different ideas so we'll see if he gets back to me. He seems much more businesslike so fingers crossed!
