Black-eyed Susans .....

..... or to give these members of the sunflower family their correct name ....Rudbeckia.

L and I had a lovely walk through Pollok Park this morning. The gardeners had been busy and many of the flower beds had been cleared ready for the autumnal planting. The wild flower bed closely resembled a jungle .... I expect it's next for clearing.

The outstanding splash of colour was the bed of Rudbeckia which were still looking good despite the heavy rain early in the morning.
