More old geezers

... making music. See also. Actually, some of them are the same geezers. It was the Adamo jazz quartet, minus the guest saxophonists. Instead they had different guests, including Monsieur le Maire, Serge, who having been dragged somewhat reluctantly onto the stage performed his party piece Les Feuilles Mortes. Not easy from scratch and in a key somewhat higher than he was expecting, but he's a good singer and he put plenty of passion into it, for a standing ovation and calls (refused) for an encore. It was a perfect evening, balmy and without a breath of wind, and the music was excellent. We prolonged it with a glass of rosé in the moonlight, home after midnight.
