Southern Alps of New Zealand

Came over to Brisbane yesterday great looking down on the alps when the cloud allowed. Wonderful to be here with my niece. Huge surprise to get a visit from my son who was down in Brisbane with a truck load of frozen goods. I hadn’t seen him for over two years and he hadn’t seen his cousin for 38 years. The pair of them were texting unbeknownst to me as to when I landed and then with instructions to get hereHe will call and pick me up next Friday to take me up to Bundaberg. Sounds like I have an exciting few days ahead of me. Today we are going looking for birds.
The extras are my son and I and the sun setting as we flew into Brisbane. The ones from the plane were with my now quite ancient pocket camera.
