High Tide

High Tide

I didn't get out until late this afternoon so had limited choice for a blip. I went down to Ravenscraig park where the wall overlooks a rocky shore where grey seals can sometimes be seen. The tide was in too far and covering their perches so no seals were to be seen. A raft of scoter ducks was just off shore but in the poor light presented little hope of a blippable image. Instead, I made the most of the poor light to select a slow shutter speed and capture the movement of wavelets lapping over the pebbles. One of them (above) is my blip for today.

PS
Re. Yesterday's blip:
The fires at the demolition site continued today and a fire engine was once again in attendance. Maybe a deliberate fire earlier in the week got out of hand and has spread inside the piles of unsorted general debris.
