Mothballed less than five years ago, the machinery in this quarry is gradually rusting away as self-set willows, birch and great willowherb soften its harsh lines. 

A long day for Alex and me, with over four hours of driving and seven hours tramping round the Suffolk countryside. We were definitely ready for a beer and home made spaghetti bolgnese when we arrived home!
