A bird in the doorway

Some of the houses around where I live have stained-glass around or on their doorways. Some, I think, is modern, whereas some might be the original Victorian glass. This one looks old and always catches my eye lit up in the darkness.

I'm feeding a friend's cat at the moment and the cat's quite timid, but very sweet. Today we had a small game of ball and a huge 'miaow' chat on the stairs. She has quite a voice!
