Sweet Peas in Cut Glass

The glass could look clearer. Perhaps I should have used different settings, but this is taken with a lens baby at its widest setting, hence the soft focus.

Rain overnight that triggered the flood alarms so there must have been something of a downpour. Early morning photos of backlit teasel and raindrops on cobweb were not successful. The raindrops were out of focus.

After taking Basil for a walk, a much needed treatment of my feet at the Ashby Podiatry Clinic early this afternoon, followed by going to see Joy with Basil later on. Joy and I enjoyed an early G&T. 

Back home, I cooked a large proportion of the tomatoes I bought last Saturday making a tomato and basil soup. Scrumptious.
