Emerging

The milkweed pods have begun to split and the seeds are starting to break away.  I love photographing these, which is a good thing since there are so few insects to photograph.  I did notice a mosquito control truck across the street a few days ago and I am wondering if that is the reason we have hardly any pollinators.  I don't know enough about this to decide one way or the other.  Must do some research.
