One way to row

Off they go…. Friend M and her daughter who met up last night and rafted their 2 sailboats together on our buoy.   They came for a short visit before they were off for ports south (into a south wind!)  this morning,   Daughter owns and runs a rowing club in Seattle…(we were sorry it didn’t work out tor many reasons to take our quad out for a row!) and says this is the quickest way to get from our dock to their boat, a few feet away.


Much clearer this morning but with the south wind it seemed to bring in more smoke later.   NO rain!  :-(  yet.      H and I made a trip over to our car at the marina to pick up a battery we’d left in the car , and a few groceries.   Many dinghies on the public dock in my other journal (seemed to go with the rowboat theme… )altho most have a motor.
