Munro No.3 - maybe

Here we are up the Cairnwell this afternoon. At 933m it comes in 245th of the 282 Munros. We walked up Schiehallion (No.59) and Mayar (No. 253) but ......

...... we got the chairlift up this one! Well it was such a novelty - it had to be done!

So, can we count this as a Munro "bagged"? I think yes. My reasons? It's my understanding that this is seen as one of the most 'spoiled" munros, because of all the ski paraphernalia around and because of the masts etc on the top of it, so I think there is an argument for perhaps treating this one a little differently from the others. Also, when we were coming back down I spotted a man all kitted out in proper walking gear and with a massive rucksack going up on the lift. So if the chairlift is good enough for a proper professional looking walker like him, then it's good enough for us too! Finally, does it really matter how we got there? Path or lift? Surely you use what's available to you? And there are so few chairlifts that take walkers up hills in this country (compared to e.g. in Germany) that it should be utilised for uniqueness factor alone!
