2018 Monday — on the Freeway

I don’t know what this store is, but I want to visit it and the side of the truck tells me there is one in our city.

We made a spur of the moment decision to return to SoCal today rather than tomorrow which was our original plan. Our boy pup, Max, has bruised or injured his back and we think a visit to the vet needs to be in SoCal just in case he needs to stay over night.

I will return to the college on Wednesday for three in-service days. The fall semester begins next week. I will be starting my 28th year of full-time teaching. My summer is over.

The change in temperature from California’s Central Coast to Southern California is quite overwhelming. We are returning to a home that has no AC; it’s never had AC. Our first priority will be to purchase AC ASAP!
