The finished article

I've been suffering with some night time pain, and also I suspect, some anxiety, with the result that my body decided that I wanted to wake before 4am.  By the evening, I wanted nothing more than to sit with my feet up.  This meant I had plenty of time for sewing.

As requested by TonyG, here is the latest project, finished.  I'm going to experiment with making my own framing matts, and this might be one that I attempt.

We had the ultimate in comfort food - shepherd's pie made with lentils, and cauliflower cheese, sitting watching TV.  And a relatively early night.
