The three of us!!

A full on day which started calmly with Grandbaby turning up late and fed!  Ro and I kept her amused in the highchair with some blueberries while we had a quick breakfast then 10yo came down and played with her.  The other two slept on till much later!  

Eventually we went shopping leaving 10yo to hold the fort.  She doesn't like shopping and in the days of bulky child seats you can't just take a little one on your lap!  A shop that I hope lasts a couple of days at least!!

The weather was awful and great at the same time so finally after a nap and a few games of Uno I decided that we had to go out.  The kids took it in turn to push the pushchair and off we went!  At each junction a different person chose the direction : we finally ended up at the swings!  The sky was getting dark!  We all had a good swing when a few explanatory drops fell.. I yanked Grandbaby off the swing and she howled in anger and kicked out: result all the straps in the pushchair were dislodged and had to be redone.  16yo was holding a brolly above us and the others had their brollys up which distracted the child and I finally managed the straps.  Modern prams and pushchairs are so much more complicated than the ones we used to have!  Grrr!

Just as we were coming up to our road the skies really opened up and it poured and poured we arrived home soaked even with the umbrellas.  Cold wet jeans!!!

Dinner: sausages, baked beans and potato waffles then Mum arrived with Little Missy and the others left for a trip to the cinema via Lidl to get some sweets!  Cheaper than at the cinema!!

I've cleared up and now I'm going to chill out with a hot drink and a tv program!

Grandbaby comes to us on Fridays so we won't be seeing her for some time so I asked Mum to take a picture of the three of us!  Little Missy is with us on Tuesday!
