What a view

I’m on a short break with my best friend. We’re staying in Matlock which is where we met 34 years ago on the first day of our PGCE course! So this weekend is a bit of a trip down memory lane... we walked to the tram museum at Crich and then climbed to the top of the tower which gave us this stunning view. Sadly much like the walk, the weather was down hill after that. The tower is the memorial to midland regiments , so the Sherwood Foresters, the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters and the Mercian Regiments. The site was beautiful.
