Helping

I volunteer for the National Trust at the Winchester City Mill. Tomorrow we are raising funds by having a duck race. There are 2000 ducks and people can sponsor them at £2 each. There are prizes for the first over the line. The ducks will be released one size of the mill and once over the finishing line scooped up again. Luckily for me I’m not one of the people in the river.

All of the volunteers help in some way. I’m on general floating around duties helping where needed.

There will be cake stall so tonight Blipbear and the gang have helped to make Lemon Drizzle cake and malteser tiffin.

They will be coming with us tomorrow as they want to see the ducks.

The first week back at work is over.
