Chinese Internet Hell

China somehow has selected a new leader and whilst the 18th Party Congress of the Chinese Communist Party the Internet here has been hell.

The Internet in Mainland China is never great but Google, which pulled out of the Mainland a couple of years ago, suffers the worst.

For the past two weeks trying to access Gmail I need to set aside at least 10 minutes just to get into my account. Or sometimes, there's just no Google at all; totally blocked! For those of you who may not know Facebook, YouTube, Twitter or IMDB are not accessible here in China.

Can you credit it? China maybe the only Country in the world where Bing becomes the English language search engine of choice.
