Something's Rotten In The Back Of Iceland

As nice as it is that we recycle stuff as a routine nowadays, getting your head round the differences in systems from one council to the next (especially when they all take great joy in tinkering with their own rules on a regular basis) is a non-stop nightmare.

Well I put the wrong things in the wrong bin again
Stuck it out in the alley on the wrong day again
It's just a ruse so that I can be in your vicinity
A ruse so that I can be in your vicinity
I just want to be in your vicinity
And be an antidote to your angular urban concerns
Urban concerns

Up in the Highlands with Victor and Hilary
Excursion to Oban, trip round distillery
A nicer couple I couldn't ever hope to meet
A nicer couple I couldn't ever hope to meet
But I don't want to be in their distillery
I just want to be in the vicinity
Of you and your urban concerns

Gonna get away next Wednesday
Gonna wash away
Urban concerns

She breezed into my room to sing her latest song in C
It goes like this:
Well there ain't no stink like the stink you're going to get
From the age-old eel in your decommissioned fridge
There ain't no stink like the stink you're going to get
From the age-old eel in your decommissioned fridge
Well there ain't no stink
