Alfriston.

Very nice morning ride to Alfriston with Ian. Its an incredibly picturesque village in the heart of the South Downs. There and back, just short of 46 miles. Glorious weather, though very parky first thing. The forecast is rubbish for tomorrow, so I might get the book out.
