Red eye!

Yeah! The sun has returned today after the thunderstorms yesterday afternoon!

It was really cool last evening ...... temperatures down to about 8c ...... brrrrrr ..... it shouldn't be that cold in August! I even had to put some socks on ...... my tiny feet were frozen!

Spotted this Collared Dove wandering about in the garden ....... not sure if maybe he'd had a 'heavy' night ..... his eye sure is red! Lol

I do love their red eyes ...... especially when the sun highlights them :-)

Typical weather forecast for Bank Holiday ...... rain tomorrow ...... but hopefully ...... & I'm going to whisper this ...... "they give it dry for Monday!" Do hope they're right!
