Votes for Women?

S and I paid a visit to Killerton near Exeter this afternoon. A lovely house and garden, they are currently holding an exhibition about the campaign for women's votes. The Acland family, who lived at the house at the time, were divided on the issue, which must have led to some lively dinner time conversations.

Sir Charles Acland (against) and his niece Eleanor (for) are making the arguments for either side in a short soap box drama.
