A chat over coffee became an impromptu lunch.

A pleasant morning at the Norton House hotel, near Edinburgh. It’s somewhere we’ve been for afternoon tea and our 30th Wedding Anniversary (on 26 March 2018); our older son and partner attended a wedding reception here recently too. A chat over coffee became an impromptu lunch for seven, (very fine)! Afterwards my wife and I headed over the Queensferry Crossing into Fife and walked along part of the East Sands in the late afternoon. By pure coincidence we bumped into old friends, (14 July 2018 blipfoto), in town for the day. More chat! Good job we weren’t in a hurry.
