BC's revenge

the summer has now been ruined by the constant smoke blowing over the Rockies from the 100+ grass fires in BC. The air quality today was rated 10+ (with 1) being the worst). It has made going outside distinctly unpleasant and cycling to work is not an option. Some think it is a response by our Westerly neighbours to Calgary overtaking Vancouver on the Economist list of most livable cities and an attempt to bring Cowtown down a few notches by compromising its air quality indices!
