Kill that Cake!

Birthday meal for my grandson by marriage. Familial titles are hard in a complex family, and I think I'd rather just go with grandson, to be honest. He's ten today, and we met up for pizza and a fantastic chocolate birthday cake Janet baked earlier today. 

This is my eldest, Cheryl, cheering Ryan on to "kill the cake!". It's grand to have all the fam together for a time. The card was Janet's choice, and as it turned out nearly all the cards features primates. There must be some truth in there somewhere.
