Made for Walking

Having started the day with Texas shaped waffles (in Tennessee??) we took the shuttle downtown for another stroll around. The city was already ablaze with the sounds of country music from every honky-tonk on Broadway. Just amazing!!! Chloe stumbled upon these cute boots, and made a decisive purchase. She was beaming as she wore them out of the store!
We wandered down to the Cumberland river in 32 degree heat, which felt hotter than NY, then cooled off with some GooGoo ice-cream and a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame. We followed this with a late lunch at Luke Bryan’s burger joint, then back to the hotel to chill. Naps, quick swim, Trivia and Yahtzee and take away pizza finished off the day nicely.
