A perfect day

I started the day with a coffee in Peebles with thechimp, thebear and Mary - super to finally meet! It was more like meeting old friends thanks to blip.

Then it was off to Stobo where I managed a 10k (no choice really due to a cow ‘encounter’ no danger I was going back the same way) and a 1km swim.

The evening was a trip into town for friends joint 50th birthday party - all you could ask for, a fabulous venue, great hosts, food, music, an endless bar and great company. All topped off with one of the hosts ending up at the police station in the early hours to retrieve their runaway dog in a very shiny head to toe gold outfit - hilarious! Apparently the police didn’t bat an eyelid when he turned up.
