Inspiration.

We need some today! What a truly dire Sunday and especially for a Bank Holiday weekend with so many events going on.

This rose is in the church garden and I imagine there are hundreds the same throughout the country as it is the one planted to celebrate 100 years of the WI in 2015. It is named 'Inspiration' to celebrate the inspirational women who set up and continue to be a part of this organisation.
I took the picture whilst waiting for the church to be opened this morning. As you can see it is very wet and has continued so all day. Fortunately we had no plans so I'll get on with my knitting after doing a bit of ironing!
