In the rain

It has been raining, heavily, constantly, all day. At lunchtime I was using up some lamb cuts, so made a stock, and stew. But on the whole its felt a bit of a trapped day, trapped by the weather. I don't feel ready to switch to the autumn clothing yet, but the weather has turned. 

This is one of the roses from my garden, in a brief spell of lighter rain. I love the colours of this one.
