Essential supplies

After church, I set about repairing a striking carriage clock which was a delicate operation as it was a very fine one with pivots which could break as soon as look at them. The repair went well and so I decided to reward my self with cake only to discover that the cupboard and freezer were bare.  I remembered the local Baptist church has a flower festival on and sure enough they had some of the precious confection. I received a phone call to turn up for badminton so the cake also provided good energy for the game.
