Heroes

Today was notable for three things: an excellent lunch, a lot of rain, and a general feeling of being relaxed.

We were heroes in the kitchen. I made home made hummus and an apple crumble. TSM made a vegan Shakshouka and a mixture of home made fries and polenta chips. Went down a storm. For once we got the quantities about right and didn’t wildly over-cater as we usually do.

Strider performed washing up heroics, for which we were very grateful. The Dizzle came back from volunteering with Help for Heroes at Dunsfold’s Wings’n’Wheels. Mr Bear just helped Monty to keep his chin up.

Been a very good weekend and not over yet.
