At the Trop

Our first visit to Tropicana Stadium; one of the worst in Major League Baseball. It’s the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, who were hosting the league-leading Red Sox. Final was 5-1 Rays, a good result, but they are still way behind and we’re well into the second half of the season. The stadium is over 25 years old and it shows, so they’re already talking about a new one, over in Tampa. That will be a lot less convenient for us, but if they can build a roof that the baseballs don’t hit (once or twice a week), that will be good.
