a room with a view

My Dad has accepted that he needs permanent full time care so today he and I made the decision for him not to return home but to stay on at WHM. 
Fortunately a much better room has become available so he'll be moving in to that within the week.   It has a fabulous view of the rear gardens and has it's own balcony.   I'm told we can put flower pots out there so if anyone knows where I can get my hands on a money tree .....
Only joking...sort of :)
In other news..Pidgy missed us so much today that he has shat all over my laundry that I left outside to dry :/  
ho hum... 
that's  not quite the first words that sprang to my lips, but for the sake of decency..

It's been a day!   I've had to pour myself a stiff one already
