2nd Caterpillar!

This Black Swallowtail future butterfly was munching away on a branch of Queen Anne's Lace that lay on the asphalt driveway.
Yesterday we did a garden cleanup and I am glad I followed Bipper Debi's advice not to cut down the spent plants. 
I was rushing to get the morning shopping brought inside before the Heatwave began. That is when I saw it and did a quick blip.
We are suddenly back into the Hot Weather Alert today and tomorrow. It has been comfortably cool for the past two or three days. By tomorrow, with the heat index, we expect temperatures over 105ºF. Advice is to stay inside and use fans and the a/c.
Perhaps this is ideal weather for the munching caterpillars!
