Universally popular

If it's not a snail, it's a bloody-nosed beetle (Timarcha tenebricosa) exploring the dizzying heights of the blackberry branches. After staying in all day yesterday, when it rained steadily throughout, it was good to see the warm sunshine return. We've picked more blackberries as we can't resist them.

Sad news from our daughter today, that one of her guinea pigs is no more. So sad when a much loved pet dies. However small, Dolly was very much part of the family.  Here she was at just 10 weeks old, the first time I blipped her. RIP little Dolly.
