Autumn

Autumn, a time for gathering in the harvest, enjoying it's abundance.

How precious is your unfailing love, O God ! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from the river of delights.
Psalm 36v 7,8

All humanity, receives the blessing of God's goodness.

In the original language ( hebrew ) these verses read ; " They are satiated from the fat of your house " In ancient Israel, fat was associated with feasting, even with celebrations in the temple of God ( his house )

God feeds me , not only with real food that is delicious, but with the even tastier joy of His presence
My chief purpose in life is to ' glorify God and enjoy Him forever ' May I feast from the ' fat ' of Your house and drink from Your ' river of delights ' .
