Autumn Reds

The light in the garden was very lovely in the first part of the morning and I was attracted by the rich autumn colours that are still showing on some shrubs. This is a Berberis and though its leaves are always red they start to have more of a rich scarlet glow as the season comes to an end.

A busy few days - hence the back blips. Quite a bit of tidying and sorting to do before the arrival of grandchildren and their mum. We were baby sitting as their mum had been invited to a 40th birthday party in Sheffield. So we had a house full with my mum as well.
