Petanque

Petanque is played in Nice everywhere there is a piece of hard ground, usually by groups of older men.

These old guys were playing down by the port.

Today's activity was to explore more of the city, take advantage of the sunny weather, and imbibe the atmosphere on the streets. We had an interesting half hour at an antiquarian book market......they even had a few English books.
