Tonight I had to find my voice ..... again!

Our choir practices resumed tonight ..... hard work after a 5 month break. We have a new very vivacious, Irish conductor and she certainly put us through our paces.

Three pieces in one night ....phew! Lovely light music and quite a change for us. Everyone knew 'The Lord is my Shepherd' from the Vicar of Dibley and we had sung Mozart's Ave Verum before. The real newby was Samuel Barber's Adagio. Further items, including Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, still to be introduced before the concert at the end of November.
