Albania Day 2

Milking the cow (and then the sheep).
Hot walk up to the high pastures, much on landrover track as it has obliterated the old narrow one in the trees (but it does mean the shepherds still go up for the summer). Stops for refreshments and lunch as small huts and met some bilberry pickers taking their pickings down to to turned into jam (see extra).
Plenty of flowers and some great scenery but I decided on the different for my blip. We stayed the night in an extended hut/barn on mattresses on the floor, an outside loo and an mountain stream to wash in - and nice breeze to dry our washing. The owners were very friendly, though spoke no English) and we were able to experience a bit of their daily life in the milking. After the cow the sheep were herded into an enclosure and the woman caught and milked the ewes as they went in. They have to be penned at night for protection.
